All charges received
are processed by our Coding Department and reviewed by
Certified Procedural Coders. In order to receive this certified
status a coder must have 2 years of coding experience and
pass a 5 hour proctored exam, in addition to maintaining
18 continued education units per year. Currently RCM has
a full team of Certified Procedural Coders who were certified
through the American Academy of Professional Coders program,
the most widely recognized authority on medical coding.
This is an integral component of our compliance program.
